The Story

A passion for food.

Mateo's started as a simple idea: bring real fire — an actual open flame — straight to you, whether that's a private party, a corporate gathering, or a public event. Pizza is the whole reason we show up: hand-tossed dough made with unbleached, unbromated flour, finished with our own proprietary sauce and kissed by fire until the crust blisters. Our go-to is a hybrid crust — part New York, part Neapolitan — though we're not locked into it. The flavors lean classical Italian with traditional Latin inspiration.

Everything runs under a Sauk County Health Department temporary/transient food license at every event — no shortcuts, just great pizza made fresh for you.

"I'm Brooklyn-born, Queens-raised — twenty-five years a New Yorker with a passion for the tastiest foods the world has to offer. A new chapter took me to South Florida, where my palate expanded even further. Now I'm happy to share my passion for food and culture with my community. Pizza has a special place in my heart that I want to share with the world."
